Week 1-2
We visit your home, listen to your vision, and assess the space. We take detailed measurements, discuss materials and finishes, and talk through how you actually use the room day-to-day. This visit is free, no-obligation, and typically takes about an hour. You will walk away with a clear idea of what is possible and a realistic budget range.
Week 3-5
Using your measurements and brief, we develop a detailed design and specifications before we cut a single board. We present material samples in your home so you can see colours and textures in your own lighting. We revise the design until you are completely happy, then lock in a fixed price — the number you agree to is the number you pay.
Week 6-14
Your cabinetry takes shape in our Thomastown workshop. Every panel, drawer and door is built to your exact specifications by our own team — nothing is outsourced. You receive progress updates at key milestones so you always know where things stand. Stone benchtops are templated and cut during this stage as well.
Week 15-16
Our own installers — the same people who built your cabinetry — arrive on the agreed date and fit everything into place. We make final on-site adjustments to ensure perfect alignment and operation. At handover, you receive full care documentation covering cleaning, hardware adjustment and warranty details.
One of our team visits your home at a time that suits you. We measure the space, photograph existing conditions, and sit down with you to understand how you use the room, what you like, and what frustrates you about the current layout. There is no hard sell — just an honest conversation about what is achievable within your space and budget.
Within two weeks of the consultation, we present a detailed design package covering layout, materials, finishes and hardware so the finished result matches what you approved. We bring physical material samples to your home so you can see them in your own lighting.
Once fabrication begins, you will hear from us at key milestones — when boards arrive, when carcasses are assembled, when doors are fitted, and when your project is ready for delivery. We send photos from the workshop floor so you can follow the build. If anything changes, you hear about it immediately.
Our install team arrives on the scheduled date with everything pre-built and labelled. Most kitchen installations take two to three days; wardrobes and joinery are typically one day. At handover, we walk you through every drawer, door and fitting, and leave you with care documentation covering maintenance, cleaning and warranty.
Every ABCD quote is a fixed price. The number we agree on is the number you pay — no variations, no surprise extras, no escalation clauses. We finalise every detail during the design stage so there is nothing left to guess at.
